Update (29/09/2021)

The list of gardens now operating has been updated. We are recruiting Garden Leaders and Garden Volunteers to help bring the rest of our gardens back to life! See our Get Involved page for more information.

What is the Edible Campus project?

Edible Campus is about community gardening, growing food, having fun, bringing people together and getting your hands dirty!

Across town we manage over a dozen community gardens and help oversee two community orchards. The majority of these spaces are based on University campus, especially in halls of residence. Each garden has its own garden leader(s) who lead garden sessions, decide what is grown and run activities in that space.

Edible Campus gardens are provided by the University of St Andrews. Having said that, these spaces are open to both town and gown.
