After the resounding success of our first online gardening workshop on seed sowing last week, we continued today with another one presented by another local veg growing guru, Bob Bilson (@bilsonrobert1 on Twitter).

Bob gave us a virtual tour of Strathkinness Community Growing spaces, and followed up with a brief chat on sowing and planting times he’s been using for best success with his fruit and veg. He shared a lot of other fantastic gardening tips in the Q&A that followed, including his secret ‘non-stink’ recipe for comfrey tea to feed your phosphorus-hungry crops.

We hope to have Bob back for another session, but in the meantime our next week workshop will be delivered by Peter Christopher, Community Gardener at PLANT’s Tayport Community Garden. Join us online Tuesday, 21 April at 1pm. Bookings as usual through Eventbrite available here .
