We are really pleased to be welcoming Transition Town co-founder Rob Hopkins to St Andrews on Friday 10th October where he will be giving a fairly informal talk at the Byre Theatre (7pm start). Rob has been a figurehead for the Transition movement since starting the Totnes group back in 2005. Since then the movement has expanded rapidly to over 500 groups worldwide as its key messages and principals give people the tools for local action. As a writer, Rob has produced a number of popular books including the Transition Town manual and The Power of Just doing Stuff. He will be in St Andrews taking part in the REconomy event and Transition Scotlan Gathering.
