COVID-19 Update

As a result of restrictions imposed to mitigate the risk from COVID-19, most of these gardens are currently non-operational and limits on numbers are in place. Further information as we move beyond Level 0 on the 9th August will be shared here as soon as possible.

What is the Edible Campus project?

Edible Campus is about community gardening, growing food, having fun, bringing people together and getting your hands dirty!

Across town we manage over a dozen community gardens and help oversee two community orchards. The majority of these spaces are based on University campus, especially in halls of residence. Each garden has its own garden leader(s) who lead garden sessions, decide what is grown and run activities in that space.

Edible Campus gardens are provided by the University of St Andrews. Having said that, these spaces are open to both town and gown.
