Carbon Conversations is a unique and inspiring series of 6 group discussions, involving games, knowledge-building, idea-sharing and reflections.

Considered by the Guardian to be one of the “twenty ideas that could change the world”, 100’s of people have undertaken the course in St Andrews over the years and testify to its benefits for them and the planet.

Courses are FREE and usually take place over 6 weeks. Our team of trained facilitators are able to run courses throughout the year at times to suit any lifestyle – from busy parents and retired residents to hectic students and 9 to 5 workers.

We now have over 100 people who have taken part in the course over the last two years, and have asked a few of them for some feedback.

“ A really amazing course that felt more like a weekly social. It gave me the knowledge and inspiration to make the right choices for the planet, my family and my wallet”

“I looked forward to the weekly meetings and have taken on lots of simple practical ideas that are saving me money whilst keeping me happy”

“I loved the communal atmosphere and that we were encouraged to work together during meetings and largely at our own pace between them…everyone was lovely and the information was useful (and in a format I can keep and revisit, which was great).”

“I have made and continue to work on smaller changes right now, mostly regarding how I eat and spend my free time, and am planning to make bigger ones upon graduation and afterward – cutting down on my travel, improving my apartment’s energy efficiency.”
