The concerns that many people have around oil dependence and economic insecurity are likely to increase in Scotland in the coming years. And many of these concerns unify Transition Network initiatives around the world, including Scotland. The Scottish referendum continues to have an impact; and has maintained momentum for radical change beyond a yes or no vote. This is clearly a time where people are considering what it means to be active in community and transformation in Scotland. At this pivotal point, what is the role of Transition for people in Scotland and how can it be part of bringing about the changes communities want to see?

Rob Hopkins will be speaking at the Byre Theatre, St Andrews on Friday 10th October at 7pm. The event is FREE and open to all!
